Beautiful Day on glossy cardstock

I love the effect of emboss resist on glossy card!!  My first card I have stamped using white craft Ink the flower from the beautiful day stamp set.  I then have done the polished stone technique on the card using Isocol.  My base card is soft sky, and have stamped the flower to match up with the flower on the glossy cardstock.  I love the two tone this gives.

The second card is a variation of the first card.

My third card I used sponges to ink up the glossy card, using tempting turquoise, pool party and marina mist.  I then stamped with versamark and heat embossed with white embossing powder.  I stamped the flower on whisper white using memento ink and cut it out using the brother scan'n'cut machine.  Greeting on all three cards is from You're Inspiring stamp set.

Beautiful Day CASE and my take on it

As you know, I love casing cards.  I am not overly creative, but have a good eye for reproducing something that I like with minimal instruction.

Today I cased the card below from Bj Peters, a fellow demonstrator.  You can view her card here.

I used glossy white for my layer.

My take on BJ's card.  I also used glossy card for this one too, I love the way the brusho interacts on the glossy card.  For this card I have used the Prussian blue and spritzed with alcohol.  The great thing about brusho is that every background is different.  You can so many variations from even just one colour.  The flower is stamped in versamark and embossed with silver embossing powder.  I have then coloured in the flowur with marina mist and smoky slate stampin blends.

Amazing You - One flower three different looks

The stamp set today is the floral image from Amazing You sale.a.bration stamp set.

My first card I stamped the image in dapper denim randomly over my layer to create a collage effect.  I then stamped the image on whisper white scrap and cut it out using my brother scan n cut machine.  I then coloured it in with an aquapainter with dapper denim.  Card is layered on a base of dapper denim.

This time I stamped my images in black and coloured in with dapper denim and pool party.  Loved the way this turned out.  As in card one, I stamped the image on whisper white scrap and cut it out and attached that over the top of one of the stamped images on my layer.  Loved the way this turned out.  Very pretty.

My last card I stamped the images in dapper denim and coloured them in with dapper denim.

So there you have it.  Three cards using very similar product but three different looks.  Which do you prefer?  I love all three.

Birthday Blooms CASE

Today I would like to share a card that I cased from a very talented fellow demonstrator Stephanie Fischer.  I just love her work.  You can see her original post here.

Here is my take on her card.

This was such a fun card to make.  I have used the flower from birthday blooms stamp set and coloured the flower in using Stampin' Blends.  These are Stampin' Up!s alcohol markers.  I am still learning how to use them, so my colouring skills need some fine polishing.  The frame is using the Lots of Labels framelits.  The greeting is from You're Inspiring stamp set.

My first card is using pink pirouette and calypso coral and smoky slate.

This card I used the stamp pads to watercolour using perfect plum and fresh fig.

My third card using daffodil delight.

My last card I used pool party.

You're Inspiring!!!! with brusho

I'm sure by now that you would have noticed I just love brusho!!!!  Here are some more cards that I have made with the technique I shared on my blog a few weeks ago.  You can see the original technique here.

The image I have added to my card today is the daffodil from the stamp set you're inspiring.  I just love it.  I have coloured in with daffodil delight and the green is wild wasabi and shading on leaf is smoky slate.

On my second card I have added some texture using shimmering white embossing paste and sweet soiree decorative masks.  I was thrilled with the way this card turned out.

You've got this meets brusho

I just love the flower from You've Got This stamp set.  It is so versatile and gives a lovely crisp image when stamped.

My first card I cased from a fellow demonstrator called Carole Beattie Parsons who shared her creation on our facebook demonstrator page.  She inspired me to have a go using air :)  I have used the brusho crystal colours with water on watercolour paper and used a colour spritzer tool that has been long retired from Stampin Up.  Image is stamped in black and greeting is from Lift Me Up stamp set.

My second card is a variation of a technique I focused on my post here.  I went wild with this technique and have lots of samples to share in the coming days.

Beautiful day, Brusho and shimmery white embossing paste

Today's cards feature the stamp set Beautiful Day from the 2018 Occasions catalogue.  I just love the large bold images of the flower and the butterfly.
On My first card, I have a base of delightful daffodil and top layer of wild wasabi.  The mask is using Pattern Party Decorative Mask brick wall pattern.  The embossing paste is shimmery white mixed with brusho crystal colour.  The butterfly is stamped in dapper denim and cut out using my brother scan n cut machine.
My second card is on a base of whisper white and has 2 layers, bottom being basic black and whisper white on top.  I have repeated the masking as in my first card.  The flower is stamped in archival black and coloured in with my aquapainter using dapper denim and old olive.   The greeting on both cards is from You're inspiring stamp set.
