Triple time stamping meets the open sea

Today I thought I would share a technique I did a while ago and hadn't got around to posting the cards that I had made.  It is a great technique called triple time stamping.  In this series of cards I have used The Open Sea stamp set.  It's a fun technique which lends itself to a variety of stamp sets.

Ink:  river rock, banana breeze and island indigo
Card:  Sahara sand, whisper white and island indigo

Ink:  more mustard, Baja breeze, island indigo
Card: more mustard, whisper white and island indigo

My inspiration for this card came from a card I saw on Pinterest, from Becca Prideaux. You can see her original post here

New Catalogue Launch projects

I thought I would show you today the projects that we did at my launch for the new catalogue.

My first project is using the Wildflower meadow stamp set along with the Sassy Salutations.  Card Base is Coastal Cabana with the layer being whisper white, and the greeting is layered with Bermuda Bay cardstock.
I have used the new hexagon punch to create the tail on the banner.  The original idea came from Darlene McCallum here.

Stamp Set:  flower shop, sassy salutations
Ink:  coastal cabana, crisp cantaloupe, pistachio pudding, strawberry slush
Card:  whisper white, coastal cabana, pistachio pudding
Accessories:  pansy punch, hexagon punch, adorning accents edgelits die

My friend Ann found these delightful A5 clipboards at officeworks and I thought they would be a lovely thankyou gift for those attending my launch.  Cut a piece of tissue paper the size of the board.  Stamp your image on the tissue paper.  Scrunch up your tissue paper and then unscrunch.  Apply mod podge glue to the base. Work quickly to attach the tissue paper to the front.  Apply a layer of mod podge to the top to seal. They were a great hit with my attendees.

Wildflower meadow in crisp cantaloupe and calypso coral

This is a variation of the card that I made at my launch but using crisp cantaloupe and calypso coral
Stamp Set Used:  Wildflower meadow, sassy salutations
Ink:  calyso coral, crisp cantaloupe
Card:  whisper white, calyso coral, crisp cantaloupe
Accessories:  hexagon punch, simply pressed clay, Wildflower meadow textured impressions embossing folder

Christmas in July meets mosaic madness.

Here are the projects we will be doing at Bel Air Baptists Creative Cards group this month.

The layer of cherry cobbler is stamped with whisper white craft ink creating a soft appealing image.  I then have stamped the baubles in wild wasabi, garden green and gumball green.

The greeting is from Sassy Salutations.  I have finished of with the border stamp in cherry cobbler.
This card I got my inspiration from pinterest.  You can find the original link here. You can also view the other cards that I like using this set on my pinterest board here.
